Does entertainment play a role in the work environment?

Working for Google's can be seen as one of the dreams that most IT professionals are looking for, especially as the business environment there is distinctive and attractive colours, not to mention business offices that break the traditional form of 99% of government companies around the world.

Entertainment in the governmental, private or non-profit environment increases productivity and combines the sense of comfort that everyone finds in the outside of work with the joyful sense of accomplishment that the individual finds at work.

Not all organizations should be like Google; it would be enough if Human resources department invest the recreational activities and achieve results like Google.

Training and development consulting companies and human resources departments are still far from recognizing the real role of entertainment and away from the development and adoption of sustainable activities and forms of entertainment according to their needs that can achieve the objectives of their organizations.

You will find many programs that are very specialized, and very diverse in the Training companies and advisers. However, it does not include entertainment, in its theoretical form.

In addition, you will find many systems that are detailed and have creativity regarding incentive systems and bonuses; but it does not include ways of entertainment, in its practical form.

A model for an (entertainment) plan that is not available in many organizations (such as factories, companies, etc.)

A question may seem strange ..

Can entertainment activities be held in government departments of a special character such as courts and hospitals?!

Or can it be held in departments of a sensitive character such as intelligence services, police and the Ministry of Defence?!

Or even in private companies with serious actions such as ship maintenance or oil exploration?!

Or in specialized voluntary institutions such as cancer patients care, addicts or disabled people?!

The answer to this question will be determined according to the convictions of the leaders of these organizations, not by the type of activity they perform.

The unquestionable answer is: Yes.

Because the workers in these organizations are human beings; they need to exercise their normal life in which there is a sense of joy and fun, and to combine the (world of happiness) and (the world of productivity) together.

In addition, their sense of loyalty, belonging and balance of psychological, emotional and social will be prompted with these programs and thus will increase levels of productivity and giving.

The informal communication through entertainment will open up prospects for work, development and achievement that can never be realized before entertainment is actually applied in work environments.
